Gameday Couture, LLC is Hiring a Social Media Content & Community Specialist Near Dallas, TX

POSITION OVERVIEW

Gameday Couture is a well-established manufacturer of officially licensed college, NFL and other professional sports apparel for women. With a strong presence in the market including over 400 college and pro licenses, and as a proud Mark Cuban Company, we are looking to expand our social media presence by reaching out to millions of sports fans and fashion enthusiasts alike.

Our team is looking for a Social Media Content & Community Specialist who is deeply immersed in the dynamic world of UGC-style content creation. This role isn’t just about managing feeds and posting updates; it’s about capturing & creating engaging content, building and nurturing a community, sparking conversations, managing brand advocates and driving our brand’s presence across our social media platforms, with an emphasis on TikTok and Instagram and video content.

The ideal candidate will be a proactive communicator, creative problem-solver and expert in social media community management. This role offers an invaluable opportunity to be at the forefront of defining our brand's social presence, representing some of the world’s most iconic sports brands.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Creation

  • Create engaging content, create more engaging content and then create even more engaging content…all of which resonates with our unique audience segmentations across all social channels.
  • Produce, edit, publish and share high quality images, video, graphics and copy that captivates our audience, builds meaningful connections and drives engagement.
  • Edit existing content, 3rd party content and UGC to create additional assets that can be leveraged across all channels.
  • Ensure all content adheres to our brand guidelines and is error free and consistent across all consumer touchpoints.

Content Planning & Scheduling

  • In conjunction with the Director of Social Media, plan and schedule a content calendar to maintain a consistent posting frequency that aligns with our overall marketing initiatives, product launches, promotions, sporting events and community involvement.
  • Structure a robust content execution plan that clearly defines how content will be used to ensure we are fully leveraging assets.
  • Maintain and continually update an asset library and repository.

Content Creator & Ambassador Programs

  • Develop and grow our base of creators and ambassadors including recruiting, developing training materials, onboarding, building and maintaining strong relationships, providing ongoing support and guidance as well as ensuring brand guidelines and standards are being adhered to.
  • Plan and coordinate program activities, events and campaigns to effectively support our brand, our products and our community.
  • Support your robust content execution plan by collaborating with content creators and brand ambassadors, co-creating content that amplifies our messaging.

Community Engagement & Management

  • Spearhead proactive engagement to build a strong sense of community by fostering meaningful interactions and conversations, responding to comments and messages in a timely and authentic manner.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage UGC, collaborate with content creators, brand ambassadors to amplify our messaging.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase community engagement, including contests, challenges and UGC campaigns.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Track, analyze and report KPI’s on our different campaigns and initiatives.
  • Use insights and make data driven decisions to optimize content strategies and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Stay informed on emerging trends, fashion and sports related activities.
  • Monitor competitive activities and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation and differentiation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Fashion, Journalism, Public Relations or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of the female sports consumer, sports culture and fashion is REQUIRED.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in social media and community management for a consumer products brand.
  • Excellent content creation skills, with an emphasis on speed: video shooting, editing and post production techniques.
  • Proven track record of creating engaging content on TikTok and Instagram.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage with audiences in a friendly and authentic manner.
  • Excellent project management and organizational abilities.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and influencer marketing tools.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Requirements

  • Flexibility to travel for photoshoots, events and generally being out and about to gather content needed on a regular basis.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to accommodate different events, time zones and other activities.
