Working under general supervision, the Senior Developer is an integral member of the IT team building large-scale Global ERP solutions for the International division of GameStop. The Sr. Developer is responsible for design, construction, coding and deployment of ERP components and for the quality and maintainability of each component in production. This position has responsibilities associated with all areas of the IT process, including requirement review and validation, technical design, technology selection, development and implementation. The person in this position will interact with their manager several times a week and will adhere to design and architectural considerations provided by the Product Owner and Sr. Manager. Please note, this position is in-office at our Grapevine, TX headquarters. ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Design and develop ERP solution components Act as a positive role model and promote team work between QA, BA, PMO, Data Management and Infrastructure Participate in technology research and software evaluations to provide periodic briefings to the Team and to management on the roadmaps for the International IT Landscape. Evangelize International applications to other teams within the GameStop IT family. Interact with the dedicated DBA and Engineering teams to optimize and maintain the ERP environment including performance, stability and maintenance. Participate in hands-on design, development, debugging, configuring and documenting software. Partner with GameStop Service Delivery Teams, providing input for strategic initiatives requiring integration between 3rd party and internally built system applications. Ensure any developed component complies with all functional and non-functional (performance, scalability, reliability, availability, and configurability) requirements. Design and Develop effective solutions to highly complicated business requirements and technical issues. Take ownership of the solution and engage with users and the Agile team to realize a positive outcome. BASIC AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE) Minimum 7 years of IT experience in a development environment required Prefer 3 years experience in ERP development, concepts, principles, and governance processes required Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related field from an accredited program or equivalent work experience required.
