GameStop's Audit Group is an independent global function responsible for providing assurance and advisory services covering all the Company's business and operations. Audit is a critical component of GameStop's control and risk management infrastructure. Successful professionals in this group will demonstrate a strong understanding of our business, build strong working relationships with business partners and deliver value added services which strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of our global processes.

The Staff IT Auditor will report directly to the Senior IT Auditor and execute on SOX IT Assurance activities, with additional support to the SOX program through the SOX scoping processes. As an IT Auditor, you'll be diving deep into the company’s financial records, internal controls, compliance with regulations, and company policies. As part of our Internal Audit team, you’ll have the chance to grow and develop your career, either within internal audit or across other exciting company positions.

This role sits full time on-site in Grapevine, TX.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities

• Experience with ensuring compliance with Board policies and SOPs through periodic access reviews
• Regularly review, test, and report on the effectiveness of logical security controls.
• Responsible for the timely delivery of assigned audits and SOX controls
• Perform audit testing components of assigned audits for all phases of audit execution. Perform data analytics in support of internal audits, SOX testing execution, investigations, continuous monitoring or upon additional request.
• Plan and execute independent audit test steps with clear and concise documentation for operational audits and SOX test work.
• Ability to plan and execute audits of information systems and data within established business process controls.
• Analyze the risks and the design of controls around key business processes and systems through the execution of operational audits and SOX testwork.
• Coordinate with external auditors to align testing conclusions.
• Develop and maintain strong and effective relationships with key stakeholders from other internal functions.
• Represent the Internal Audit function globally to key stakeholders through strong cross-functional partnership.
• Work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other internal functions towards the improvement and maintenance of the GameStop control environment.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with all risk and control functions.

Requirements

• Undergraduate or graduate degree in accounting, business administration, information systems, or related area.
• Minimum 1-3 years in internal audit or related functions within a public accounting firm or equivalent experience in a corporate environment.

• Strong quantitative analysis skills, including the ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and report financial and operational data.
• Strong project planning skills, including the ability to organize, prioritize and control job responsibilities in order to meet deadlines in an environment with overlapping and potentially conflicting priorities
• Strong ability to gather and scrutinize data to identify issues, opportunities, patterns, and sustainable business solutions
• Proficient ability to communicate, written and oral, throughout the organization
• Proficient ability to work collaboratively with others
• Proficient knowledge of Windows-based business computers and Microsoft Office programs; specifically, Access, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word
• Consistently demonstrates a commitment to GameStop policies and procedures, including but not limited to, attendance, confidentiality, conflict of interest, and ethical responsibilities
• SAP experience is a plus
