Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq is Hiring a Call Center Intake Agent - Law Firm Near Plainfield, NJ

We are looking for an Intake Call Center Agent in Plainfield,NJ,to play a pivotal role in the firm's client acquisition and Intake team by providing administrative support to intake leads for new andprospectiveclients. The Intake Call Center Agentdeterminesclient eligibility and will make referrals to other Practice areas and departments. This candidate will secure relevant information and documentation and interact with perspective clients and internal teams timely. This position will report to the Intake Call Center Manager.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, respond to perspectivecalls,and take notes.
  • Ask a series of questions for thepurpose of compiling data to determine the next course of action.
  • Receives, evaluates, collects data, and coordinates referral activities in collaboration with the Referral Department.
  • Reviews all alert calls for leads and creates leads on case management system – Smart Advocate.
  • Processes and uploads documents in case management system.
  • Organizes and scans documents.
  • Research police reports in Legal Plex.
  • Schedules and calendars appointments for the Investigators.
  • Maintains legal files and other relevant information in digital databases.
  • Disputes denial claims.
  • Makes transportation arrangements for clients and manages car service accounts.
  • Interacts with attorneys and paralegals to discuss the intakes timely. Communicate constructively and enhance resolutions.
  • Receives and sends email communication daily.
  • Provides support to other administrative staff and performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Communication effectively, actively listen, and convey points clearly and proactively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to use standard office equipment.
  • Proficient in Smart Advocate or similar case management system.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Ability to multi-task in a demanding environment.
  • Attention to details.
  • Display a positive and professional with internal and external clients.
  • Flexibility and adaptability: may change direction and/available for overtime.
  • Possess critical thinking.
  • Excellent people skills.
  • Understanding of legal terminology and documentation.
  • Thorough understanding of GGL’s core values and goals.
  • Experience in working in a professional environment Medica/Health or Personal Injury Law firm experience.
  • Bilingual, facility with English and Spanish is highly desirable.

Education & Experience

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
  • Data Management preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Personal Injury legal firm or Medical Industry as a Receptionist, Medical Assistant or Referral Assistant.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
  • Able to travel to offices of GGL (Garces, Grabler & LeBrocq) as needed.

Pay: $18.27 - $23.56 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8-hour shift
  • Monday to Friday - 9 am to 6 pm
