As the Compliance Director at BEST, you will be responsible for ensuring that all security personnel are properly licensed and compliant with local, state, and federal regulations. You will oversee the licensing process, maintain accurate records, and provide guidance to ensure the company operates within legal boundaries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Licensing Management: Manage the process of obtaining and renewing security licenses for all personnel, including background checks, training certifications, and regulatory compliance.

Compliance Monitoring: Monitor regulatory changes and updates related to security licensing requirements and ensure the company's practices align with legal standards.

Documentation and Record-keeping: Maintain detailed records of all security personnel licenses, certifications, and compliance documentation to ensure accuracy and accessibility.

Training Oversight: Collaborate with the training department to develop and implement programs that ensure security personnel are adequately trained to meet licensing requirements.

Audit Preparation: Prepare for and complete internal and regulatory audits, providing necessary documentation and ensuring compliance with licensing regulations.

Policy Development: Develop and update company policies and procedures related to security licensing compliance, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and legal requirements.

Risk Management: Identify potential compliance risks and develop strategies to mitigate them, proactively addressing any issues that may arise.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including operations, HR, and legal, to ensure seamless integration of licensing compliance efforts across the organization.
