Job Summary

We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to join our highly supportive program comprised of small class sizes with BCBA and BCBA- D oversight in each class!

Under the direction of the classroom BCBA and Clinical Director, our instructors provide one-to-one instruction as required by the assigned student(s) individualized educational plan (IEP). Instructors collect, maintain, graph, and analyze student data. Instructors provide ongoing feedback to classroom team on student’s progress and concerns. Instructors provide parent training in the school, community, and/or home on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implements the IEP of by providing one-to-on instruction to assigned students
  • Participates in the selection of the students' instructional materials and treatment goals
  • Participates in developing objective response definitions for individualized academic or treatment programs for assigned students
  • Participates in specifying data collection procedures for individualized academic or treatment programs for assigned students
  • Assists in specifying instructional or treatment procedures for individualized programs for assigned students
  • Assists in the arrival and dismissal of assigned student(s)
  • Participates in periodic reviews of the effectiveness of assigned students' individualized programs
  • Assists in making changes in target behaviors, response definitions, data collection procedures, or treatment procedures
  • Assists with regular data summary/data analysis for assigned students
  • Implements students' daily schedules as assigned
  • Participates in ensuring consistent implementation of each assigned students' individualized treatment program
  • Participates in preparation of quarterly progress report materials for assigned students
  • Participates in the development of IEPs
  • Organizes and maintains curricula and instructional and leisure materials and contributes to their orderly display and storage
  • Reports on-the-job injuries promptly to supervisors and completes accident/incident reports in a timely manner
  • Records and monitors data pertaining to each assigned students' health care and medical problems
  • Participates regularly in school staff meetings, joint staff meetings, staff development days, pre-service training, in-service training and other training opportunities
  • Drives students using school vehicles to community, volunteer, and work sites

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelors degree in psychology, special education or other related field preferred
  • Two years of college or an Associates degree is required
  • College level coursework and/or experience implementing ABA programs
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Experience implementing behavior intervention plans
