What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Receptionist position at Garden OBGYN?

We are a large and growing medical practice seeking experienced receptionists. We pride ourselves on excellent patient care and service. We are seeking candidates who have exceptional customer service skills to greet, schedule and assist our patients. The office is fast-paced and requires attention to details while maintaining a welcoming presence for patients and their families.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Ensuring the front office is clean and presentable
  • Scheduling patient appointments
  • Confirming/rescheduling appointments
  • Completing insurance authorization and eligibility if needed
  • Collecting Copays/Balances
  • Assisting with patient questions
  • Answering phone calls in a professional manner
  • Processing paperwork
  • Medical office experience is a plus
  • Critical thinking and problem solving skills is a must

Qualifications

  • Medical experience is a plus
  • Positive attitude
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Candidate must be able to take initiative
  • Must be available to work a combination of day shifts and night shifts
  • Must be able to work occasional weekends if needed

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Bilingual (Preferred)

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
