GardenStateHSWrestling,LLC is Hiring a Production assistant Near East Hanover, NJ
Production Assistants are responsible for the technical aspects of stream production. Duties include equipment setup / cleanup (setting up cameras, computers, microphones / headsets, sound boards, etc.
camera operation during events, Graphics / On-stream Score Operation during events, and troubleshooting issues with equipment and stream feeds if they occur to ensure the stream stays online.
Qualifications
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's Degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, Sports Media, or a similar field preferred)
- We will also accept applicants from those actively working on earning a degree in the fields listed above
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to different schools in our coverage area (Hunterdon, Warren, Sussex, Morris, Essex, Passaic counties)
- Must be flexible and willing to work weekends and weekday evenings
- Especially between December 9, 2024 and March 1, 2025
- Ability to lift / carry / move A / V equipment (up to 50 lbs.)
- Knowledge of Interscholastic Sports is a plus
- Working knowledge of audio and video studio equipment
- 1-2 years of experience in operating cameras for athletic contests
- 1-2 years of experience in setting up / tearing down cameras, tripods, sound boards, microphones, and video switchers.
- Experience in software such as YouTube Streaming / Studio, Vimeo, and Open Broadcaster Software, vMix, TrackWrestling, WordPress, and FloArena is a plus.
Rate of Pay
Rate of pay is determined based on length of event. All events are paid per diem. Most events are 2-3 hours in length.
