Key Responsibilities
- Manages daily operation of the LMS to provide 99.999999% uptime for faculty and students.
- Updates and improve s knowledge and skills pertaining to the LMS and communicates system configuration changes to leadership, course owners, and end-users.
- Tests all software updates/enhancements to ensure continuity of the system and to prevent negative impact to end users and course owners .
- Integrates, maintains , and supports third party tools into the LMS including Microsoft, publisher, and Kaltura.
- Utilizes reporting systems to generate reports and dashboards creating meaningful insights into the leaning data.
- Develops and maintains self-paced Blackboard learning tools for faculty and students including orientation to Blackboard and on-demand topics .
- Provides 1:1 consulting in building courses and teaching in Blackboard
- Develops and delivers faculty training in Blackboard including new feature highlights at the annual Online Faculty Professional Learning Day
- Participates with LMS user groups to maintain currency and glean useful system enhancements
Experience2 years demonstrated experience as an LMS Administrator or LMS Specialist (5 years preferred)
2 years demonstrated customer service experience
1 year technology trainer experience
