- Bachelor’s Degree in Auto Technology, or
- Associates Degree with 3 years of industry work experience
- ASE Certified
- Valid Texas Teaching Certification or eligible

Position Duties
- Plan, organize and provide academic instruction for secondary dual credit Auto Tech. classes
- Prepare, administer, and grade tests and assignments in order to evaluate students' progress
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
- Fulfill all the general responsibilities of a classroom teacher and report directly to the school principal
- Attend yearly DCCCD faculty training
- Submit grades and progress information into the DCCCD system
- Complete DCCCD assessments as determined by the partner college lead faculty
