Our family owned and operated business provides exceptional quality in commercial/industrial HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen equipment repairs, installation, and maintenance.Job Summary:The Accounts Receivable Clerk is responsible for managing the accounts receivable process, including billing, invoicing, and collections. This role ensures that the company's receivables are collected in a timely manner and accurately recorded.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and send out invoices to clients
- Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments
- Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines
- Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted
- Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues
- Maintain accounts receivable files and records
- Produce monthly financial and management reports
- Investigate and resolve customer queries
- Assist in preparing the year-end audit
- Perform other related duties as required
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred
- Proven working experience in accounts receivable or general accounting
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel
- Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Office environment with standard office hours
- May require occasional overtime to meet deadlines
