POSITION SUMMARY

The Fiscal Grants Compliance Manager is responsible for all day-to-day financial management and administration of the grant portfolio. This will include the coordination of various activities and support as it relates to applications, funding agreements, budgets and compliance. This position creates and maintains partnerships with local, state and federal government entities, private funding organizations along with collaboration amongst internal partners including Finance, Development, Programming, HR and others.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for day-to-day oversight of agency-wide fiscal grant compliance and reporting
  • Works with programmatic leads on financial tracking and program deliverables to maximize grant utilization and reported in a timely fashion, including monthly budget to actual meetings with programmatic grant leads
  • Develop, recommend and implement policies and procedures related to grant management in compliance with all guidelines
  • Provide organizational leadership in areas related to grant compliance and financial reporting, such as staff education, evaluation, and creating/improving financial processes
  • Meets monthly with program and budget managers, with an emphasis on the appropriate management of funds, including purchasing and allocation of costs
  • Prepares reporting documents to funders, ensuring the timely submission of all vouchers, invoices, and related compliance reports such as program participant reports, personnel activity reports, etc
  • Timely submission of required grant personnel time-tracking
  • Attend meetings and trainings, conduct training for staff, and participate in grantor-hosted training as applicable
  • Leads monthly and quarterly evaluations with necessary parties to conduct reviews of programs’ outcomes, deliverables, and expenditures, to prepare necessary budget revisions and program modifications to ensure compliance for each contract
  • Sits on the grant review committee, contributing to the decision-making process by evaluating the viability of proposed funding options
  • May perform other duties, activities, or projects as assigned
  • Understands, follows, and interprets to others GCYC’s policies, procedures, and best practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Training:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field such as accounting, business administration, or other related fields preferred.
