POSITION SUMMARY: The Corporate and Foundation Relations Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in supporting fundraising efforts by individually securing gifts of $100,000 or less from corporations and foundations and will assist their manager in processing gifts larger than $100,000. This position assists in identifying potential partners, nurturing existing relationships, and managing the incoming donor queue to drive financial support for our mission and initiatives.
This is a remote position, the Gary Sinise Foundation will gladly accept applicants from the following states: Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and/or abilities required.
Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications, or related field. 1-3 years sales/marketing and or pertinent job experience.
Basic understanding of corporate philanthropy, foundation giving, and fundraising principles and some experience in fundraising, preferably in a non-profit.
Computer Skills / Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, Salesforce and database management.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, decimals, and percentages.
Language Skills: Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English. Ability to successfully write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information, respond to questions and professionally interact with managers, employees, clients, vendors, and the public.
Reasoning Ability: Must be able to apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, collect pertinent data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and initiate appropriate course of action. Must effectively convey ideas, images, and goals to a diverse group of personalities.
Other Qualifications: General knowledge of computer applications for the frequent use of electronic mail, word processing, data entry, spreadsheets, graphics, etc. Must be able to handle multiple, simultaneous tasks effectively and efficiently. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Must be detail oriented and organized with the ability to perform duties under pressure, prioritize workload, and timely meet deadlines. Must have the aptitude and ability to self-direct work and/or ask for guidance about priorities. Ability to work irregular hours and weekends. Enthusiastic and team-oriented with a passion for supporting the organization's mission.
