CONSTRUCTION MANAGER
Gaston Real Estate Investment Company, a small business in downtown Columbia, is searching for a Construction Manager. Our portfolio consists of ~140 residential & commercial rental units owned by the company. Mainly focused on student housing near the University of South Carolina campus.
Main Tasks Include:
- Manage ongoing maintenance on existing properties.
- Organize & plan repairs on properties.
- Oversee rehab of new projects and flips.
Basically, lots of construction.

- $65,000 - $80,000 total compensation (can be customized package to include benefits important to you).
- Autonomy is a big deal here - you won't be micromanaged.
- Real estate experience is helpful, but not required.

- Company has a small team of 4 people.
- You'll working with Operations Manager & maintenance team to coordinate projects with occupied properties.
- This will involve interviewing contractors, getting bids or quotes, and lots of time sourcing materials.
