Medical Assistant: Back Office: Full-Time: Monday-Thursday 8:30AM-5:00PM and Friday's 8:30 AM -12:30PM: Gastroenterology Practice: Rooming patients, vital signs, reviewing meds with patients, enter data correctly into Veradigm (formerly Allscripts) EHR. Calling back patients with lab results, calling in patient refills and electronically submitting patient refills thru the EHR. Answering phones, scheduling appointments, doing pre-certs for procedures, checking patients in and out, working patient A/R as needed, send monthly recalls for procedures. Other duties as required. Must have a working knowledge of insurance.

Must be proficient with EHR's preferably with Veradigm (Allscripts) EHR & PM. Must be dependable and must have reliable transportation. References, background check and positive attitude required. Resume must show a stable work history with at least 2 years at previous employment. Must have at least 2 years experience as a medical assistant. Looking for someone with longevity on the job.

Salary commensurate with experience.
