Responsibilities:

• Manage incoming calls.
• Calling customers to remind of payments.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Assist customers with various types of insurance needs such as new policies, endorsing existing policies, taking payments, renewing and reinstating policies, and answering all questions.
• Identify and assess customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction.
• Perform administrative tasks, as well as handling policy renewals and contacting underwriting to complete policies.
• Work with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Build and develop customer relationships within the community to promote Gateway City Insurance products including auto, home & commercial insurance.
• Seek out new clients, generate lists of prospective clients, and develop clientele by networking and marketing. You and your office manager will develop marketing strategies to attract new customers.
• Inspect vehicles, examining general condition, age, and other characteristics, to decide if it is an acceptable insurance risk.
• Meet personal/customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas.
• Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents.
• Take the extra mile to engage customers. Customer Services is our #1 priority.
• ASSIST WITH DAILY HOUSEKEEPING ROUTINES FOR COVID SAFETY.

Job Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate for this position will possess a strong sales mentality, desire to succeed, and good organizational/ interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must pass background test.
• Must be able to obtain county mutual, limited lines or P&C license.
• Customer Service/ Insurance Sales Experience preferred.
• Basic Computer knowledge and posses strong written, verbal and people skills.
• Must have reliable transportation for bank deposits and daily marketing.
• Must be able to work independently with minimal/ no supervision.
• Bilingual (Spanish & English)
• Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters.
• Self- Motivated
• Detail Oriented
• Ability to work in team environment

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
