VP, Treasury Management JOB SUMMARY:

The VP, Treasury Management is primarily responsible for selling all Treasury management services for the Bank including cash management, commercial card, and merchant services capabilities. Develops, implements, and delivers a full range of solutions that help clients achieve their treasury objectives and business goals. Assists the Director of Treasury Management in driving department initiatives forward that maximize the client experience while creating revenue, profitability and efficiency for the bank.

VP, Treasury Management ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (RESPONSIBILITIES):• Develops new profitable business from prospective and existing clients. Collaborates with Market President and bankers to develop strategic account plans and executes them.

• Manages client contact, proposal writing, and the sales process. Coordinates implementation of products and services.

• Promotes sales through frequent client discussions covering new products, as well as market and industry developments.

• Develops in-depth client knowledge for both new business development and management of client risk.

• Creates strategic dialogues around key client-centric issues, incorporating best practices, benchmarking, opportunity quantification and solution positioning.

• Executes a clear set of engagement principles that ensures consulting resources are mapped against the largest revenue opportunities within Treasury Management.

• Manages portfolio of Treasury Services clients in a manner that maximizes opportunity for client retention, profitability, and growth.

• Meets established sales and deposit goals.

• Assists in formulating and executing on product and pricing strategies as well as setting departmental and individual goals; collaborates with team to develop and implement best-in-class onboarding, process, and quality control practices.

• Exercises awareness with regard to possible suspicious activity, money laundering or fraudulent behavior and reports any such incidents to the BSA department. Performs all job functions in compliance with all company policies and federal, state, and local laws and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.

VP, Treasury Management REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities• Extensive knowledge of Treasury Management Services policies, procedures, and practices. 
• Understands clients' business goals, environments, strategies, and industry trends to better determine their requirements and identify potential new business opportunities for the Bank.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
• Excellent organizational, negotiation, and planning skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Ability to mobilize and Influence internal networks and resources.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to generate ideas, identify and drive the development of new business.

Equivalent Education/Experience• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.
• 10 years of Treasury Management sales experience or equivalent experience in related field.
