We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Operations Manager to oversee and manage our day-to-day operations in Odessa TX. Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal candidate will have a strong background in the oil and gas industry, logistics and transportation, exceptional leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the daily operations of the trucking division in West Texas, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services.
• Further develop operational policies and procedures to enhance productivity and streamline processes.
• Develop, monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in operations.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and maintenance teams to ensure timely and safe delivery of goods.
• Presence in the field visiting customers and ensuring operations are running smoothly.
• Oversee the maintenance and repair schedules for the fleet to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation to achieve financial targets.
• Collaborate with the sales team to address customer needs and provide exceptional service.
• Identify opportunity for additional product offerings/expansions with clients and pipeline leads to sales function.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT and FMCSA requirements.
• Further develop and enforce safety laws, regulations and standards, according to state and federal regulations
• Address and resolve operational issues promptly to minimize disruption and maintain service quality.
• Lead and motivate a team of operations staff, providing training, development, and performance feedback.

Requirements:

• 5 years minimum in oilfield operations
• 3 years minimum trucking experience - logistics, dispatch, etc.
• Leadership experience
• Strong people/communication skills
• Problem-solving skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Sales experience
• Bilingual strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
