• Support planning and coordination of program and its activities.
• Ensure implementation and compliance of YMCA, State and School guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Ensure individual needs of children are met.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff, families, school personnel and volunteers.
• Maintain an environment that ensures children, staff and family safety and well being
• Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that advance all areas of children’s development and learning, including social, emotional, intellectual and physical competency
• Conduct program in accordance with YMCA goals and principles of developmentally appropriate practices
• Supervise and mentor group leaders and support staff.
• Support program growth and development.
• Ensure zero tolerance for abuse and actively participate in the protection of youth and teens.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
