Gateway Triangle Corp is Hiring a Director of Information Technology Near Hobart, IN
Director of Information Technology (IT) duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Analyze complex business needs including point-of-service (POS) software, presented by the user community and/or customers and recommend technical solutions
- Ensure the consistency and maintainability of existing applications, networks and software by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions including point-of-service (POS) system
- Direct operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer and/or employee expectations
- Produce detailed time line for each application release and implements effective project control by monitoring the progress of software releases and reporting the status including point-of- service (POS) software
- Oversee project management of technology related projects
- Direct and prioritize the workload of the IT Team
- Review all designs, code and unit test plans where applicable
- Maintain department budget
- Gather and analyze quotes for department purchases; present best solution(s) to the Executive team
- Approve all business requirements prior to the technical solution
- Participate on all hardware and software evaluations including point-of-service (POS) software
- Maintain, evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts
- Perform liaison duties between users, operations, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or troubleshooting
- Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
- Respond to emergencies in a timely manner which includes calls outside of normal working hours
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience within the information technology field
- Minimum of three (3) years of management experience
- Experience with the most current technologies and products used in the Company’s industries
Salary/IncomeThe Director of Information Technology (IT) is an exempt, salaried position
