Overview:
We are a community oriented organization paying-it-forward to local charities. We are seeking a motivated, hardworking individual and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for processing donations, providing customer service, cashier, and organizing items for display in our thrift shop. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have a passion organization and treasures.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right products
- Process transactions accurately using the cash register
- Maintain a clean and organized sales floor
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store targets
Cashier experience preferable.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail sales is preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
-physically able to be on your feet 4-6 hours pee day and anle to lift and carry boxes of merchandise
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Knowledge of technology products, including electronics, is a plus
- Ability to learn technical sales techniques
-Collaboration skills to work with teammates for camaraderie
- Professional phone etiquette when assisting customers over the phone
