Primary Duties Will Consist Of But Not Limited To
  • Drive values by building and maintaining relationships with Employees & Leadership to ensure effective communication throughout the company.
  • Ensure that electronic human resources files and records are maintained in accordance with legal requirements, company policies and procedures.
  • Accurately maintain payroll and benefits for 300 employees across five locations. Control workers compensation claims by eliminating unnecessary filings and streamlining processes
  • Serve as a liaison between multiple business units to improve communications
  • Structure compensation and benefits according to market conditions and budget demands
  • Provide guidance on policies and procedures to harmonize responses to complaints and ensure appropriate investigation and resolution of grievances
  • Manage random quarterly drug testing
  • Dispute unemployment claims & participate in hearings
  • Assist in the research, marketing and selection of employee benefit programs
  • Coordinate annual wellness screenings for all locations
  • Conduct monthly new hire benefit meetings for all locations
  • Conduct open enrollment meetings
  • Streamline HR efficiencies and coordinate new hiring onboarding and training
  • Follow all policies closely to assess and make proactive changes to meet changing demands
  • Assist senior leaders on appropriate employee corrective action steps
Qualifications
  • 5 years of HR experience; at least 2 of those years in a Human Resource management position
  • Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative.
  • Outstanding leadership capabilities including employee coaching, development, strategy and business guidance
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization; strong written and oral communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
