Gaynor & Associates, an established manufacturer’s representative located in Eden Prairie (MN), is seeking to hire an Outside Sales Representative to join our team. 

Since 1946, our agency has represented leading manufacturers of electrical and heating-related products. Gaynor’s commitment to excellence through incisive market awareness, unwavering relationships, and synergetic partnerships has consistently created exceptional value for our clients and principals.

Your Role:

  • This position will have a primary focus on Menards and their buying offices in Eau Claire, WI. You’ll collaborate with our team and be responsible for achieving sales and category goals for multiple retail product lines based on the strategic plans of our principals and customers.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement sales strategies for both short and long-term growth.
  • Develop and maintain sustainable business relationships - both internal and external to the organization.
  • Understand market dynamics and trends, with an ability to react efficiently and effectively.
  • Identify opportunities to increase sales across multiple product lines. 
  • Actively organize and participate in key meetings throughout the year involving strategic planning, sales execution, marketing, forecasting, and product line reviews.
  • Direct internal resources to ensure alignment with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Manage new product onboarding process including item set up, online content and POG layout.
  • Develop and execute in store projects with our retail field support team.

Your Skills:

  • BS/BA Business preferred, but not required.
  • 7 years of account management experience in working with Menards.
  • Strong relationship building, category management, strategic planning, decision making, data analysis, customer service, along with strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with a passion to succeed.
  • Willing to work in a team environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
