Job Title: Business Analyst

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in the banking industry to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with product experts to analyze, document, and implement business processes and solutions that drive our banking products and services forward. This role requires a deep understanding of banking operations, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to translate business needs into actionable requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering & Analysis:
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including product experts, to gather and analyze business requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive needs assessments and identify gaps in existing banking processes and systems.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Prepare detailed documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and user manuals.
• Develop and present reports to management and stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
• Process Improvement:
• Analyze current banking processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service delivery.
• Design and implement process optimization initiatives in collaboration with product experts.
• Project Management Support:
• Assist in the planning, execution, and management of banking projects.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of project milestones and objectives.
• Facilitate communication between various departments and teams involved in the project.
• Testing & Quality Assurance:
• Coordinate with testing teams to ensure the quality and functionality of developed solutions.
• Develop test cases and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate requirements.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including product experts, IT teams, and business units.
• Act as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
• Proven experience working with product experts and cross-functional teams.
• Skills & Competencies:
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
• Knowledge of banking operations, products, and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Technical Proficiency:
• Familiarity with banking software and systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Experience with project management and collaboration tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).

Additional Requirements:

• Certifications:
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) is a plus.
• Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
