GE Corporate is Hiring a Manager, Creative Services Near Prior Lake, MN

Works with the Director of Brand Marketing to develop creative strategy, then oversees
implementation and execution by leading an in-house creative team in the development of creative
marketing products that support message effectiveness and overall brand synergy. Responsible for
facilitating the conceptual development processes of all creative marketing materials for all Mystic
Lake and Little Six casino efforts, focusing on generating innovative ideas across all traditional and
digital platforms.

The Manager, Creative Services leads a mid-size team of in-house designers, copywriters and content
creators. The Manager, Creative Services needs to bring a strong sense of vision, big ideas and
creativity with the ability to provide meaningful feedback, coaching and guidance.

Primary Job Duties:

  • Provide direction and insight to creative team translating marketing objectives into clear
    creative strategy. This will be accomplished through project coordination, communication
    with detailed timing and deliverables by channel/tactic and setting clear expectations.
  • Provide reviews on all team member designs to ensure objectives are being met and work is
    within brand guidelines. Making thoughtful changes and recommendations on creative work.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong, transparent and positive relationships with internal and
    external partners.
  •  Motivate, develop and challenge in-house creative team in creative development for Mystic
    Lake & Little Six. Maintain brand style guide, brand guidelines, brand vision and design
    standards and systems to ensure visual and brand consistency across the enterprise for all
    projects.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for the creative team and vendors/partners for direction
    and leadership. Ability to jumpstart creativity among the team and lead project kick-offs and
    brainstorming sessions. Promotes sharing of expertise and continuous learning among the
    teams.
  • Work with Director of Brand Marketing to continue to refine creative and design strategy.
    Develop strategies and concepts across multiple media platforms – including mail, digital,
    print, web and others – while maintaining the integrity of the brand and ensuring that the
    execution aligns with the overall marketing strategy. Make suggestions/changes to ensure
    process and workflows are efficient.
  • Collaborate with other Marketing Managers (i.e. Marketing Operations Manager, Marketing
    Communications Manager and Social & Media Manager) on marketing project requests to
    review and provide input on creative process, direction and strategy. Proactively identifies
    challenges and/or risks and can articulately level-set with teams, departments, management
    as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to develop multi-platform campaigns promoting the Mystic Lake and Little Six brands, along with key sub-brands.
  • Responsible for all administrative duties of leading the team - interviewing, hiring, promoting team members, training and development, performance management.

Requirements:

 Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a field related to Advertising or Marketing.
 5 years of experience in an agency atmosphere or marketing department; 2 years of indirect or 1
year of direct people leadership experience.
 Familiarity with layout and design software, project management software, Macintosh operating
system and utilities and MS Office Applications. Experience with Web CMS, email marketing platform
and Four Winds Interactive digital signage is a plus.
 Detailed problem-solving, independent judgement and decision-making skills.
 Strategic thinking and planning skills.
 Demonstrated leadership skills.
 Demonstrated project management experience.
 Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects and resources to effectively hit deadlines, budgets and
results.

change management and rolling out small and large scale initiatives.
 Outstanding written, verbal, interpersonal, coaching and presentation skills with the ability to tailor
messaging to the audience
 Strong collaborator who influences effectively with a variety of internal and external stakeholders at all
levels.
