GE Vernova is Hiring a 3rd Shift Manufacturing Engineer Technician Near Schenectady, NY
- Help develop shop tooling and procedures.
- Work with engineering team to improve overall shop process.
- Give hourly EE’s technical guidance.
- Perform set ups, calibrations, and troubleshooting of automated machinery.
- Measure and record critical quality data of manufactured products.
- Associates Degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university and 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment OR High School Diploma / GED plus a minimum of 3 years working in a manufacturing environment
- Work on 3rd shift from 11p-7a
- Project Management Skills - ability to handle multiple complex situations daily
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgment, initiative, and creativity
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, & organizational integration skills
- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Engineering or Business
- Green Belt or Black Belt Certification or equivalent Quality certification
- Minimum of 2 years of industry experience
- The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
