Ged Lawyers, LLP located in Boca Raton, Florida, is seeking an experienced Pre-Litigation/Litigation Paralegal to work in the first party property damage department of our fast-paced office. Must have experience on the Plaintiff side.

Responsibilities:

• Draft pleadings, memos, motions and correspondence
• Trial preparation
• Comply with and propound discovery
• Mediation preparation
• Correspond with clients, experts, and other law firms
• Maintain and/or create binders for hearings, depositions and trial
• Prepare settlement statements
• Litigation case management
• Perform investigative searches
• Conduct various searches and queries on the internet
• Meet with clients
• Scheduling of depositions and hearings
• Coordination with court reporting companies
• Coordinate with outside sources to obtain photos, enlargements and/or trial exhibits
• Review and analyze motions

Required Skills:

2 years of paralegal experience, first party property damage experience preferred

Excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal, organizational, decision making, relationship building and negotiation skills

Prior experience with Litify a plus. Word, Excel, efiling systems in state and federal courts.
