```Job Summary```
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef's Assistant to join our culinary team. As the Assistant Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations, including food preparation, assisting Head Chef and menu planning. ```Duties```
- Plan and execute menus for daily meals, banquets, and special events with Head Chef.
- Oversee Spanish/American food preparation and ensure high-quality standards are met
- Manage along with Head Chef, inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff in proper cooking techniques and safety procedures
- Collaborate with other departments, such as the dietary department and catering, to meet customer needs
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Monitor food costs and implement cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

```Skills```
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills:
- Extensive experience in the food industry, preferably in a culinary or kitchen management role
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Ability to create innovative menus that cater to different dietary preferences and restrictions
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Proficient in managing shifts and coordinating kitchen operations
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
