Position: Operations Coordinator
A Minneapolis company focused on innovation and quality, Gems designs products and experiences that have an everyday place in people's lives. Founded in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2013, and from there quickly expanded its footprint overseas in China, Vietnam, and Mexico. Gems focuses on the design, development, and manufacturing of consumer electronics with a diverse portfolio of business-centered contract manufacturing for large national retailers.
We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to join our team in Eden Prairie, MN!
This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking for variety and exposure as the Operations Coordinator will be involved in multiple aspects of the business. In addition to managing these responsibilities, the ideal candidate is someone with the drive to identify opportunities for improvement within existing processes to better support the growing business.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Inventory and Sample Management: Manage on-site inventory (organize, archive, determine and ensure proper inventory levels); fulfill customer sample requests; manage Bazaarvoice seeding sample campaigns; update database with incoming and outgoing product
2. Customer Service: Assist with responding to customer reviews and other guest service issues; develop troubleshooting manual for common customer reviews and questions; recommend items for additional seeding sample campaigns; identify and establish customer service best practices
Requirements:
1. Highly organized, attention to detail and accuracy is a must
2. Strong oral and written communication skills
3. Ability to take initiative and carry out responsibilities with little supervision
4. Ability to effectively multitask and prioritize in a dynamic environment
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel) and Google
6. Experience with Oracle NetSuite a plus
7. High School Diploma or GED equivalent, college degree preferred
8. 1 year experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
1. Must be able to lift 35 lbs above head
