GEN Global Solutions is Hiring an Organizational Change Management Analyst (Fully Onsite Role) Near Houston, TX

Our client is seeking an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) Analyst to support a Permitting System project with OCM (Communications, Training, Stakeholder Engagement) activities.

Note: This is an onsite role. You will be required to be onsite Mon-Fri, 40 hours/week.

Our client has been involved in the permitting process for more than 30 years. The current system facilitates permit application intake, application processing, permit issuance, inspections, compliance and enforcement. Currently, they are working on a replacement of their current permitting system – one that will enable their team to more efficiently and effectively satisfy their regulatory commitments, while substantially improving the quality of service that they provide.

The OCM Analyst will work as a key part of a large project team working to implement a large-scale, complex, integrated business and technical change initiative.

The OCM Analyst will be Prosci-Certified and play a key role in ensuring all OCM initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This individual will focus on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.

The OCM Analyst will work with project leadership and staff members to understand their varying OCM needs, work with program and project managers to integrate change management activities into their project plans, develop and implement change tactics, and be responsible for measuring success of all activities. The OCM Analyst will work to drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and proficiency with the changes that impact employees. These improvements will increase benefit realization, value creation, ROI and the achievement of results and outcomes.

This individual must have a keen understanding and extensive experience in developing OCM strategy documents, conducting change impact assessments, stakeholder assessments, communication plans, training plans, business process readiness plans, and adoption metrics and reporting plans.

This individual will report to the OCM Lead.

What you will do

  • Review feedback from key stakeholder groups and devise a plan for addressing all feedback/questions.
  • Get embedded within the project team to fully understand current and future status.
  • Implement all change management tactics, communications tactics and training tactics, as assigned.
  • Support all business process changes and ensure stakeholders are aware.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Organizational Change, Organizational Psychology, English, or related field.
  • Prosci Change Management Certification.
  • 7 years of experience implementing OCM activities, including training, communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Extensive experience in OCM-related communications, training, stakeholder engagement and multimedia activities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
  • Ability to work with leadership at all levels.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
  • Extensive experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle.
  • Experience with large-scale organizational change efforts.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to gather and provide information effectively when under pressure, regardless of audience (i.e., senior leadership, project sponsors, stakeholders, teams).
  • Strong organization, planning, problem-solving, decision-making skills, and attention to detail. Comfortable prioritizing and managing multiple tasks with minimal direction.

Additional Info

  • Full-time role
  • Hourly rate: $55-$60/hour on W2 or 1099 (no benefits). This position can also be a salaried role if benefits are desired.
