Job Description
One Base and 4 option years
one position at each of the locations: Kansas, Indianapolis, Dallas, Minneapolis, Cleveland, Chicago, Houston, Albuquerque.
Job Functions: will provide contract design support and construction oversight of local projects within the districts. The engineering support position will work closely with the District Project Coordinator, the NAS Implementation Manager (NIM) or NAS Implementation Program Manager (NPPM). This position will provide support and coordination of local projects (e.g., providing site access, oversight of site survey and implementation activities, periodically checking in on active projects, etc.) as necessary.
Qualifications:
Must hold a bachelor's degree from a school of engineering within at least one program accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET);
Minimum 5 years of FAA experience related to the construction, installation, restoration, service life extension, demolition, removal, or refurbishment of National Airspace System (NAS) facilities.
If no FAA experience. aviation facilities or non-aviation experiences may also be considered.
