Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of 7-10 technicians engaged in the installation, maintenance, and repair of generators.
- Lead onsite (high level) maintenance activities
- Manage and mentor technicians to ensure high levels of technical proficiency and customer service.
- Coordinate with parts coordinators to streamline inventory management and ensure timely availability of necessary parts.
- Work closely with dispatcher teams to optimize scheduling and ensure efficient deployment of resources.
- Lead on-site maintenance activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and troubleshooting of generators.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of excellence, safety, and compliance within the team.
- Generac and/or Kohler Level III certification or comparable technical certifications required.
- Proven experience in management, maintenance, troubleshooting and field service, particularly in the generator space.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a high performing team.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a commitment to resolving technical issues promptly and professionally.
- Technical knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Generac certification or relevant technical degree preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
