  • Support aerodynamics efforts for one or more advanced design programs.
  • Support proposal efforts in a technical and budget estimation capacity.
  • Document/report aircraft sizing best practices and studies.
  • Develop aerodynamic databases for use in air vehicle performance and 6-DOF simulations.
  • Support various tests including wind tunnel tests and flight tests, including reducing and analyzing the data after the test and documenting the results.
We recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.
Job Qualifications
  • Typically requires a bachelors or masters degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and two or more years of engineering experience with a bachelors degree. May substitute equivalent engineering experience in lieu of education.

  • Communicate effectively to technical teams, upper management, and external customers.
  • Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment.
  • Familiar with a variety of aerodynamic analysis techniques including hand calculations, airfoil analysis methods, vortex lattice methods, panel methods, and computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
  • Experience with wind tunnel testing strongly desired: Pre-test planning, run schedule management, data reduction and visualization, post-test reporting.
  • Significant experience writing tools in Matlab.
  • Have strong communication, computer, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Security Clearance is required.
