HOW A Systems Administrator WILL MAKE AN IMPACT: * Configuring and maintaining complex Active Directory forests and domains across a intricate network with over 10,000 users and 20,000 Active Directory objects.
* Working within a bastion forest solution to provide comprehensive security and management across multiple Active Directory forests.
* Continually monitoring the environment to ensure best practices and Federal guidelines are being followed.
* Creating advanced monitoring strategies for monitoring and reporting the health of Active Directory components.
* Recording problem symptoms and status information in a timely fashion and communicating internally within IT and externally with the customer through problem resolution.
* Conducting complex troubleshooting and repair tasks on Active Directory, Windows Server 2008-2019, Domain Controllers, user authentication and other operational systems as needed.
* Monitoring, backup, and restoration procedures for Active Directory.
* Documenting new system components, or modifications to existing components
* Ensuring the security and integrity of system and product solutions.
* Participating in on-call rotation (as required) for emergency technical support and planned maintenance activities.
* Performing research, procurement, deployment and configuration of systems.
* Presenting clear, organized & concise information to audiences to enable business decisions. WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED: * Education: BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related scientific or technical discipline (May substitute experience for education)
* Required Experience: 3- 8 years of relevant experience supporting projects of similar size, scope and complexity
* Required Technical Skills: DoD 8140 compliance required. (CompTIA Security )
* Security Clearance Level: Active Top Secret (must have a T5 or T5R investigation within the last 5 years)
* Required Skills and Abilities: Highly motivated, self-starter with great communications skills; effective problem solver; able to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
