ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PURPOSE (Job Description) Lead assigned Work Test Coordinators in the conduct of their duties. Execute tasks, establish guidelines, and set milestones to and monitor/oversee the performance of the Work Test Coordinators assigned to each project. Certify all contracted WAFs have been closed satisfactorily. Certify all required WAF and Test reports are submitted and settled. Submit required reports to the Customer. Coordinate and track WAFs and set up work authorization, work control, and WAF office on new jobs. POSITION DEMANDS (Education/Training)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
ACCOUNTABILITY Directly responsible for coordinating the work authorization and work control process from submission to completion, via the use of WAFs for all contractor work performed during a contract period through the use of electronic WAF logs and WAF notebook files. Reports to Ship Manager during project execution. Also responsible for training and qualifying contractors in the WAF control process. UNIQUE/ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Regular, reliable attendance on-site is an essential function of the job. Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation. Must be a U.S. citizen and qualify for a Common Access Card (CAC) or DBIDS badge. Must have reliable record of attendance and punctuality and be available for overtime as required. Must be able to physically transit all areas of the facility. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects or controls, and to talk and hear. Must have good eye/hand coordination. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be familiar with working in a naval-ship-work-environment and be able to go aboard marine vessels and the drydock, climb ladders, work in tanks and confined spaces, and wear personal protective equipment. These areas can be dirty, dusty, hot or cold, and noisy. PAY RANGE:$70,480 - $92,505 Annually . |
