Our work depends on a Cybersecurity Engineering Lead joining our team to support the Army Global Unified Network (AGUN) program in Falls Church, VA. This is an IT Service Management contract in support of GENM-O's mission is to enable information dominance from the tactical edge to the home station for the Army, DoD, National Command Authority, and international partners by acquiring, implementing, and sustaining strategic satellite and terrestrial communication systems, and by leveraging technologies to meet current and future requirements. AGUN is to design, procure, maintain, deploy, and transition a Global SDN solution in accordance with applicable Army policies and regulations. The AGUN-INC1 TO will provide a unified approach to ensure standardized deployments and configurations at multiple locations throughout the globe. To be successful in this position you need to be collaborative and willing to work within a team. While you will need to be a self-starter completing tasks on your own, working together is critical in this role. You will be interfacing with the client and senior staff. Therefore, you should be articulate in your communications because your opinion matters. You will need to explain technical intricacies in a way that is easily understood. Automation Engineer: Designs and implements evolutions to GENMO infrastructure based on industry best practices, optimization, and modernization to reduce costs and improve services; enables the rapid provisioning of compute, network, storage capabilities, self-service provisioning services by authorized users; and establishes operating environments that are conformant to U.S. Army configuration and security template requirements. Enables monitoring by GENMO-developed enterprise monitoring environment. Certifications: Appropriately certified for their designated role in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, DFARS , AR 25-2, or any successor policies or regulations; Possesses a DoD 8570.01 approved baseline certification or higher. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
