Our work depends on a Data Collection Research Nurse joining our team and utilizing a working knowledge of supporting research protocols and data collections to ensure products developed following DoD requirements. HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT
Provide senior level support services for data collection and manage day to day activities for assigned programs in Data Collection.
Develop and implement guidance for assigned programs and works with Government leaders to develop program objectives.
Support high and middle level field testing and evaluation (T&E) on concept and prototype casualty simulation data collection events and demonstrations, as needed.
Conduct the medical concept demonstration scenarios at locations identified during the scheduled T&E periods.
Develop medical scenarios to enable evaluations, training for the evaluators and evaluation support services.
Provide verbal and written communications and generate all reports necessary to comply with protocols requirements and Principal Investigators (PIs) requirements.
Work with PIs to schedule and conduct studies.
Work closely with the PI and research staff to ensure that all regulatory documents for the research studies are up-to-date.
Maintain a process to track each protocol through the submission and approval process.
Assess, plan, and evaluate simulations to provide data required.
Perform data collection activities and administrative work in support of the research study.
Attend required study meetings and remain current on procedures and protocols
Provides oversight of Data Collection Technician(s) / Medical Research Assistant(s).
Provide training tools and information for Nurses, Medical Assistants, medical research participants and other data collection staff.
Coordinates and maintain relationships with local entities.
Generate reports for Command and conduct presentation of updates to the Command and leaders.
Prepare and deliver a Field Evaluation After Action Report.
Document lessons learned, issues, evaluation results and recommendations.
Support special projects as needed.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Nursing
Required Experience: 5 years of Nursing experience and 2 years' experience managing medical research projects or protocols.
Required Technical Skills: Have data collection knowledge and computer skills to capture the information.
Security Clearance Level: NA - T1 Public Trust
Required Skills and Abilities: Experience briefing senior leaders on project status. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Being proactive and able to work independently
Location: Ft. Detrick, MD

The likely salary range for this position is $85,000 - $115,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
