General Industrial Flooring is Hiring a Foreman - Epoxy Flooring and Concrete Restoration Near Denver, CO

About us:

We are a Denver based commercial and industrial epoxy flooring installation company who also provides concrete restoration, grinding and polishing.

Work starts Monday-Friday at 8:00, meeting at our shop near Santa Fe and Alameda in Denver.

Foreman Overview:

This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations at worksites to ensure completion of projects in a safe, efficient and timely manner. This position will lead a team and will report to a project supervisor directly. This is a working manager role meaning that you will be working on the project alongside the crew, not just managing the team. You MUST have substantial experience in leading crews and running jobsites, completing many projects successfully from start to finish. We're looking for a leader who not only extensively knows what they are doing but also has a long track record of leading employees, helping develop them, and driving quality projects to on time completion. You'll need an eye for details and a desire to do excellent quality work.

Qualifications:

- At least 10 years experience installing various floor coatings and performing concrete work in COMMERCIAL AND INDUSTRIAL SETTINGS, including epoxy, polyaspartic, urethane cements, building and installing integral cove base, polished concrete, concrete grinding, floor repair, joint filling and ideally self leveling systems and toppings as well. You also should be comfortable independently repairing these flooring systems.

- At least five years experience successfully leading a crew and achieving excellent results.

- Able to illustrate significant experience working with many different kinds of systems from many different manufacturer as well as types of products.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to/from our shop. Ability to drive company vehicles and be allowed on our insurance as a driver.

- Experience training and developing employees.

- Reliability: showing up on time every day you are scheduled to work and effectively communicating when you won't be able to make it in.

- Including safe work practices in every job. Conducting safety/toolbox meetings. Calling out unsafe practices and ensuring errors do not repeat. Requiring use of appropriate PPE.

- Meeting and discussing projects with project managers, facilities managers or other relevant parties while onsite.

- Communicating effectively with our management and working collaboratively, asking questions when necessary to ensure the job is done correctly and on schedule.
