The General Morgan Inn is currently in need of new Front Office Agents who are looking to enjoy a friendly, professional working environment, competitive compensation and the finest training in all of Tennessee. All that is required is a friendly smile and a desire to succeed.

Some of the responsibilities of the position include:

• Welcomes all hotel guests in a warm and friendly manner
• Ascertains the needs of potential and current guests in order to provide anticipatory service
• Assists customers in a branded, friendly, proactive, and efficient manner with appropriate follow-up as necessary.
• Knows all essential aspects of hotel operations and key details regarding the on-site restaurant and nearby businesses
• Collects payments by accepting various forms of guest payments
• Provides check in/out services and all other guests' needs throughout their stays
• Verifies financial compliance by reviewing and recording customer information and operating credit card authorization systems
• Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift
• Monitors public areas to determine guest flow and needs
• Responds to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Acts as liaison between various guests, vendors and hotel staff
• Works collaboratively with other staff, managers, and resources as needed
• Provides friendly, anticipatory service to all guests and visitors
• Open to filling in for Night Audit (overnight shift)
