• As a Service Technician Apprentice, you will be responsible for maintaining, modifying, troubleshooting, and repairing a large inventory of electric and gas commercial kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Use variety of tools to troubleshoot and repair gas, electric, water, refrigeration, and steam-powered commercial kitchen and HVAC equipment.
• Maintain and display an awareness of various types of tools, common commercial kitchen and HVAC parts, and basic principles of electricity.
• Communicate professionally with customers and colleagues regarding required repairs and status. You will navigate various service software and communications channels to provide quality service.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance and lift equipment.
• Perform repeated bending, twisting, stooping, kneeling, and climbing up and down ladders.
• You will be exposed to electrical, steam, and high heat units that require extreme caution and safety equipment surrounded in high and low temperature environments (overheated kitchens, rooftops, outdoors, etc.) occasionally to frequently.

• Completion of a satisfactory background check and drug screen is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver’s license and driving record that aligns with our safety standards.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, including electronics, steam, gas, and refrigeration.
• Must be highly safety-conscious.
• Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying (up to 75 pounds).
• Requires frequent walking, standing, driving, sitting, squatting, kneeling, reaching overhead, bending, twisting, and turning.
• Must be able to use hands for fine manipulation of hand tools.
