Job Summary:

The Customer Account Representative is responsible for providing Customer Service to improve customer satisfaction while adding value to the company. Serves customers by providing product and service information, resolving product and service questions and problems.

Duties and Tasks:

• Develops and maintains strong values and relationships with customers.

• Enters Purchase Orders in a timely manner.

• Checks all POs for errors and makes corrections as needed.

• Monitors Orders in production to ensure customer due date is met.

• Answers Customer Calls and aids in directing them to the correct individual.

• Assist in updating quotes as necessary.

• Works with production on changes necessary to maintain accurate BOM’s.

• Works with customer’s forecast.

• Assures forecast requirements are met per customer and GP agreements.

• Assists customers with daily hot lists, including providing tracking information, date of arrival and or status on production floor.

• Implements changes to existing accounts and adapts to changes in customer procedures.

• Identifies opportunities for improvement and suggests ways to implement.

• Other tasks as assigned by management to ensure the realization of company goals.

Education / Experience

• High school degree required, some college preferred or combination of education and experience.

• Must have a minimum of 2-4 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing environment.

• Must have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, meet deadlines, multitask effectively, and work well under pressure.

• Must be able to understand and update BOM’s as needed.

• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience working with a resource planning (ERP) system and ISO-9001 quality system.

• Basic computer experience (Word, Excel, and Power Point).

• Ability to work with little or no supervision.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
