The Irrigation Specialist will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Inspect and troubleshoot existing irrigation systems for issues.
- Install new irrigation systems according to specifications.
- Repair or replace damaged components such as sprinkler heads, valves, and pipes.
- Adjust irrigation schedules based on weather conditions and seasonal changes.
- Perform regular maintenance tasks including adjusting water pressure.
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to ensure proper irrigation coverage for plants and lawns.
- Operate hand tools and power tools to complete installation and repair tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Previous experience in lawn care, landscape maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
- Knowledge of irrigation system components and their functions.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in irrigation work.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve irrigation system issues.
- Excellent attention to detail to ensure precise installation and repairs.
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to use and/or operate tools and equipment including trenches, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers, and pipe-sizing.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
