General Tool is Hiring a Customer Service Rep II (CSRII) Near Irvine, CA

Job position Summary:

Customer Service Representative II is a mid-level position that is assigned a full range of duties. This position requires performing customer service work, providing external/internal support for both their team and Sales Representatives, receiving, and responding to customers’ emails and phone calls. You will have moderate supervision with the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Accepts new knowledge and tactics to help answer customers’ concerns and questions.
  • Manages medium to large amounts of accounts.
  • Familiar with entering customers’ orders with the correct information into SAP.
  • Learning and maintaining knowledge of products – old, new, and current.
  • Performs the full range of customer service duties along with assisting the team.
  • Accurately operate, record, and submit customers’ orders through SAP.
  • Managing and communicating packaging and design requirements with the Marketing Department.
  • Responding to customers in a timely manner via email and phone calls.
  • Will be assigned to additional duties if necessary.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Minimum of 1- 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office.
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Extremely detail-oriented and problem solver.
  • At least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the US.

• High School Diploma/GED required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift, pull or push up to 30lbs to carry products to customers.
  • Ability to work and sustain attention with distractions and/or interruptions.
  • Ability to interact appropriately with a variety of individuals including customers/clients.
  • Ability to deal with people under adverse circumstances.

Training will be provided.

Working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday, full-time, on site.
