Administrative Assistant Job Description

Job title: Administrative Assistant

Division/Department: Revenue Cycle Management

Reports to: Director of Revenue Cycle Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our organization by performing a variety of administrative tasks. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong multitasking abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide Administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
  • Manage and maintain Director’s schedules and appointments.
  • Organize and coordinate meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Draft and proofread correspondence, reports, and other documents.
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding to inquiries or directing them to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring proper functioning.
  • Assist in preparation of presentations and reports.
  • Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Perform general clerical duties, such as photocopying, faxing, and filing.
  • Coordinate and maintain records for office expenses.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
  • Discretion and Confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
  • Positive and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualification as an Administrative Assistant or Secretary is a plus.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role is preferred.
