Certified Nursing Assistant Training Program- Earn while you learn!Lompoc,Ca
Lompoc Skilled Nursing & Rehab, is in search of a Care Partner to join our CNA Training Program. The chosen candidates will be provided an opportunity to apply for an internal Certified Nursing Assistant program based on need and employee performance. Employment at Lompoc Skilled Nursing is conditioned on satisfactory references, background checks, and pre-employment physical and drug screens. Employee will be required to be full time and will receive a $2K sign on bonus once they have completed state testing. This position will be to train a full time employee into a CNA and train on site. Classes to be held M-F 8am-4:30pm.

CNA Program:
- Paid Training $17/Hr to become a Certified Nurse Aide
- Class is Monday-Friday 8-4:30pm, times subject to change in facility
- California accredited training program
- 2 sets of class colored scrubs will be provided
- Books and learning materials included
- Once state exam is passed, Wage increase of $9-$22/Hr with Sign on bonus of $2K
- Looking to fill PM shift 3PM-11:30pm and Night shift 11pm-7:30am shifts with this next class of CNA’s
- Activities of daily living including, bathing, toileting, dressing, perineal care, transferring
- Documentation
- Basic medical terminology, anatomy and physiology
- Students will learn how to care for others in a highly rewarding career field
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age-related needs of the residents served
- Must be a supportive team member, contribute to and be an example of teamwork and team concept
- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Must possess the ability and willingness to work harmoniously with other personnel
- Must have patience, tact, a cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents
