Position: Parts Manager
Location: Jacksonville, Florida

Generator Source is seeking a Parts Manager for our Jacksonville, Florida location to manage all activities related to the Parts department, ensuring a high level of service for both internal and external customers within the industrial generator industry.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, including the following:

• Oversee and manage all activities of the Parts department, focusing on seamless operations related to industrial generator parts.
• Ensure the accuracy of inventory specific to industrial generator components and perform quality inspections as needed.
• Source and negotiate with national and local vendors to obtain the best pricing and delivery for industrial generator parts, ensuring timely availability for maintenance and repair schedules.
• Review production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed, with a focus on industrial generator components.
• Coordinate with Field Services to ensure all necessary parts and equipment are ready for service calls, minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience/Education/Skills:

• 5 years of experience in the industrial generator field or a related industry is highly preferred.
• Competent in the use of NetSuite and Microsoft products/systems highly preferred.
• Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to learn new systems quickly and support the team within industrial generator parts management.
• Strong communication skills, including written, oral, and active listening; clear and persuasive in both positive and negative situations; asks relevant questions to gain clarification; conveys thoughts and ideas concisely; responds well to questions and feedback; demonstrates group participation skills.
• Builds and maintains strong working relationships with customers (internal and/or external) and coworkers; establishes confidence and shares knowledge with others, especially in areas related to industrial generators.
• Does what it takes to get the job done for the customer and/or team; nimble, adaptable, resilient, and a bit entrepreneurial; demonstrates learning agility when further developing technical, functional, and interpersonal skills.

Working Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
