- Develop high-quality training curricula tailored to corrections and law enforcement, including core and specialized content.
- Perform comprehensive research on current events and industry trends to assess and define training needs.
- Work collaboratively with training staff to establish and achieve short-term and long-term curriculum goals.
- Ensure effective communication with team members to deliver all projects within deadlines.
- Participate in both virtual and in-person meetings to align strategies and progress with team objectives.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of existing training materials.
- Utilize the ACADIS/FTACS platform (TCI's Learning Management System) proficiently to design, manage, and evaluate training programs and events.
- Bachelor's degree in corrections, criminal justice, or related field preferred, but not required.
- Previous experience in law enforcement, corrections, or related field is highly preferred.
- Previous experience in creating training content is highly preferred.
- Above average proficiency in MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and outside professionals.
- Ability to consistently meet performance deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to develop training curriculum, training content, and points of instruction.
Job Type: Full Time Job. Potential to become permanent state employee in the future.
Expected hours: 40 per week
Benefits: Flexible schedule
Schedule: 8 hour shift
Ability to Relocate: Relocation is not required for the right candidate, however; the ideal candidate lives within the Client due to periodic requirements for the individual to report in person to a designated location.
Work Location: This position is primarily remote work, however; some work outcomes will require the incumbent to report in person to a designated location.
