Genesee Intermediate School District is Hiring a Staff Accountant Near Flint, MI
AvailableOne full-time position; 7.5 hours per day, 260 days per year.
Salary$22.91 - $31.38 per hour.
BenefitsEligible for health, life, dental, vision and disability insurance after one full day of employment. Employees shall be subject to the co-payment of health care costs in accordance with state law and the GIESPA agreement.
QualificationsEducation:
Associate’s degree in accounting, business management or related field required. Coursework (minimum of twelve semester hours) beyond the associate’s degree in advanced accounting, economics, finance, math and/or statistics required. Demonstrated successful work experience in accounting may be considered as part of the coursework requirement. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business management preferred. Completion of bachelor’s degree within three (3) years from date of hire in the position required.
ExperienceMinimum five years related work experience in accounting and budget development required. Five years experience preferred. Experience with SchoolsOPEN software desirable.
