Job Overview:
As a Construction Superintendent at Genesis Technical Staffing, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing construction projects from inception to completion. Your leadership and strategic planning skills will be instrumental in ensuring project success while upholding our commitment to excellence and safety.
Requirements/Qualifications:
· 5 years of experience in heavy civil and/or marine construction, with at least 3 years as superintendent in heavy civil and/or marine construction
· Strong leadership and communication skills
· Knowledge of heavy civil construction methods and materials
· Experience with project management software and tools
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
· Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred, not required)
Operational Efficiency & Process Improvement
· Manage and ensure the crews’ progress to meet deadlines
· Plan construction processes
· Keep track of material stock and orders
· Ensure the job site remains safe, clean, and orderly
· Week Ahead Meetings
