The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)Clinical Pod Leader oversees patient care for all nursing centers in an assigned geography and functions as the ADON in an assigned nursing center. This individual has 24-hour accountability and supports the Director of Nursing (DON) with the delivery of efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/family and employee satisfaction.
 
Position Highlights
*Serves as the clinical operational liaison between the nursing units and the DON overseeing the daily clinical operations of the nursing units to include compliance with nursing center policies and procedures, practice standards and regulations.
*Facilitates the implementation of the care delivery model and processes, mentoring staff, coordination, and communication with other departments, and ensuring patient and family satisfaction.
*Assists to develop, allocate and control the budget for the Nursing Department with a focus on recommendations on nurse staffing needs, position control analysis and pay practices.
*Interviews and orients new professional nursing staff and evaluates performance of all nursing employees.
*Monitors nursing care to ensure patient needs are met and positive clinical outcomes are obtained.
